Patti Aldridge – Director of Operations

Patti Aldridge coordinates and manages all aspects of our clinical and financial systems. Her expertise in project management enables us to quickly adapt to changing technological and regulatory needs. Patti manages the deployment of such complex systems as facility-wide electronic medical records, the timely and successful rollout of MDS 3.0 and detailed department budget tracking. Patti attended Gonzaga University and is currently working to obtain her Master’s in Business Administration. Over the past 11 years, Patti has worked with national companies such as Coram Specialty Infusion Services and Apria Healthcare, implementing systems and protocols to improve organizational efficiencies.
Gerry Lafont, M.P.A, N.H.A – Executive Director

Gerry Lafont, our Executive Director comes to us with more than 17 years of experience in the operations and management of skilled nursing facilities, assisted living facilities, long-term care facilities and memory care communities. Gerry possesses a strong track record of providing award-winning clinical environments for residents and has received a number of industry awards, including an ongoing Five Star Medicare rating, “Circle of Excellence”, “Most Profitable Center”, and “Most Consistent Performer in the Rocky Mountain Region.” Gerry was appointed to the State of Colorado’s Long Term Care Advisory Committee and recently appointed by the Governor to serve on the Colorado Board of Examiners of Nursing Home Administrators after Long Term Care Advisory and continues to be actively involved.
Prior to joining our team, Gerry gained an enormous amount of experience acting as Director of Operations, Vice President of Business Development, and Executive Director. While directing the general operations of multiple facilities, Gerry broadened his expertise with a spectrum of matters involving Medicare/Medicaid claims, JCAHO, HUD loans/renovations, and reorganization and turnaround management.
Gerry holds a Bachelor’s Degree from Bowling Green University and a Master’s of Public Administration from the University of Colorado. Gerry has been married to his wife Cynthia for almost 19 years and has a daughter, an early high school graduate now at CSU studying to be an architect. His hobbies include biking, hiking 14ers and spending time outdoors with his two Australian Shepherds.
Alexander Senkoff, M.D., N.H.A – Medical Director

Alexander Senkoff, M.D., N.H.A. has practiced medicine in Colorado since 1997. He earned his degree in medicine from the University of Medicine and Dentistry, New Jersey Medical School in 1992. Dr. Senkoff completed his internship and residency in internal medicine at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield, Massachusetts while serving as a Clinical Fellow with Tufts University School of Medicine. He also holds a Bachelor’s degree in accounting from Montclair State University in New Jersey. Dr. Senkoff is board certified in internal medicine and hospice/palliative medicine and is a licensed nursing home administrator in the state of Colorado. Dr. Senkoff has worked as a hospitalist at Penrose Hospital where he served as the sole hospitalist for Colorado Springs Health Partners, sat on the Pharmacy and Therapeutics Committee and was active among the medical staff. He has also served as the sub-acute medical director of several skilled nursing facilities in the Pikes Peak region. Dr. Senkoff originally conceived of and developed the idea of a standalone sub-acute rehabilitation facility for the Colorado Springs community in 2001 and was integral in the development of The Center at Centennial, LLC. Dr. Senkoff is the Center at Centennial's Medical Director and is a member of its Board of Directors.
Amy Boren, R.N. – Director of Nursing

Amy Boren, RN, directs the operation of our clinical nursing services in accordance with applicable federal and state regulations. Amy has 23 years of nursing experience to draw from and has spent the last 10 years serving as the Director of Nursing for various facilities in Colorado. Her years of work experience as a certified nursing assistant and licensed practical nurse give her valuable insights and understanding into every aspect of direct nursing care in the skilled nursing environment. Amy is responsible for laying the foundation of excellent patient care at The Center at Centennial since its opening in 2007 and has helped Centennial maintain its Medicare Five-Star rating.
Jamie Walker, MS, CCC-SLP – Director of Rehabilitation

Jamie Walker MS, CCC-SLP received her Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology/Communication Disorders in May of 2004 from West Texas A&M University. Immediately following graduation Jamie completed her Certificate of Clinical Competency focusing on Geriatrics and Dysphagia. She became a licensed Vital Stim provider in 2006 which greatly enhanced her patient outcomes. Jamie has worked in a variety of skilled nursing and long term care facilities in the Amarillo, TX area, and locally in the Colorado Springs community. Jamie has been with the Center at Centennial since December of 2007 where she initially joined the team as a Speech-Language Pathologist. In December of 2010 she accepted the position as Director of Rehabilitation.
